Why We Exist

Most materials and coatings challenges don't fail for lack of data — they fail because the gap between laboratory science and production reality is wider than it looks. Process parameters that work in a development lab behave differently on a production coating line. Powder specifications that qualify on paper perform inconsistently in service. Failure modes that seem obvious in retrospect were invisible during ramp-up.

Metcer Innovations was founded to close that gap. We combine rigorous materials science with hands-on experience in coating operations, powder processing, and production ramp-up — so our clients get recommendations that actually work on the floor, not just in the report.

We work with R&D engineers who need a specialist to accelerate development, operations and production managers who need to get a new coating line running reliably, and procurement teams who need to qualify a new powder supplier without a six-month detour.
